Aidan has a background of electrical engineering and project management within the defence, maritime and nuclear industries. This is based on a Royal Navy career working on military radar systems and engineering design within the nuclear sector.
Starting out as an Artificer Apprentice in 1998, Aidan completed his engineering course at HMS Collingwood before going on to manage his own radar section on numerous frontline warships. A number of deployments then followed, including trips to the Mediterranean and the Gulf. After completing his Senior Rates Command Course with distinction, he went on to conduct his officer training at Britannia Royal Naval College in 2006, where he graduated as the top warfare officer in his entry.
Upon leaving the Armed Forces, Aidan was offered a position within the Tenet design office, where he took on the role of Design Team Leader. At the same time he also studied with the Open University to gain qualifications in Project Management. A spell working for a company producing coastal surveillance systems, as their Senior Project/Sales Engineer, allowed Aidan to develop his project management skills, while also gaining exposure to the commercial world of sales, marketing and customer relations. Aidan's current role as Tenet's Operations Director enables him to align the company's business practices with the principles of improving efficiency and ensuring procedural compliance to deliver Client's projects on time and to high quality standards.
Aidan lives in Liverpool with his wife and two children and, in his down time, can be found hiking or skiing as frequently as possible, often with a camera strapped to his hand.
